I won 2nd place in my category for the quilt challenge!
As I went to pick up my prize and ribbon, the Green Valley Quilt Circle did a "wave" for me! Such a rowdy bunch! Just love them!
75.00 bucks to spend at the quilt shop of my choice!
I received a free quilt challenge packet for having entered this year's challenge. The theme for this year is "your heart's desire". One piece of red batik fabric? Hmmm.
After listening to Esterita Austin, last night's guest speaker, I was inspired to do a second challenge quilt hence the #67 bag. I wish I could afford to take her class, her kind of work is right up my alley and she seems like she is really able to help her students be successful in creating beautiful work.

Well, with that out of the way now I have to finish up the other quilt I plan on entering in the quilt show. Plus I have to get to calling all of my volunteers and figure out who's going to work where.
I better get on it and stop basking in the glow of my victory. lol.
